Donnetta Jean Carson

Donnetta Jean Carson was born on July 25, 1946, in Saint Louis, Missouri. She lived a life filled with dedication and joy until she passed away on April 9, 2026, at AventHealth Lake Wales.

Donnetta spent many years sharing her knowledge as a teacher. Sixteen years ago, she moved from her hometown of Saint Louis to this area, where she continued to build a life surrounded by family and friends. She had a passion for crafts, and would often make jewelry and needlepoint, which brought her much happiness. Donnetta also enjoyed watching television, especially Sci-Fi movies.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Theodore and Elizabeth Goodlow; brothers, Charles Goodlow and Theodore Goodlow; and sister, Deborah Goodlow. Donnetta is survived by her loving sons, Terrance Carson and his wife Helena of Winter Haven, Clinton Goodlow of Seattle, Washington, and Tony Goodlow of Gary, Indiana. She is also remembered by her sister, Audry Wilson and husband Rick of Saint Louis, Missouri; sister-in-law, Frederica Goodlow; grandchildren, Jamisha, Jazmine, and JaLissa; great-grandchildren Jamairah and Samir; and a host of nieces, nephews, great-nieces, and great-nephews.
