Donna Kay Wood of Lake Wales passed away Tuesday, March 2, 2021 at her residence.

She was born May 31, 1959 in Lake Wales to the late Calvin and Ella Powell; and she was a lifelong resident of Lake Wales. She was retired from Citrus World and of the Baptist faith. She enjoyed shopping, flower gardening and spending time with her grandson.

Donna was preceded in death by her sisters, Kathy Sullivan and Janice Holmer. Survivors include her husband of 35 years, Carl L. “Sonny” Wood; daughters, Karla Leann Wood of Lake Wales, Sherri Dickson and husband, Max of Winter Haven and Crystal Jackson and husband, Michael of Eagle Lake; son, Clayton Andrew Wood of Lake Wales; brothers, Bruce Powell of Lake Wales and Robert Powell of Lake Wales; and one grandson, D.J. Cole.

Memorial service will be held 3:00 p.m. Saturday, March 6, 2021 at Marion Nelson Funeral Home in Lake Wales.
