DONNA ROBBINS, 63

Donna Robbins of Lake Wales passed away Thursday, April 19, 2018 at Lakeland Regional Medical Center.

She was born on May 01, 1954 in Lake Wales to the late Crawford and Fannie Lou Robbins; she has been a lifelong resident of this area. She was a retired secretary for the Polk County School Board and a paraprofessional for many years at Spook Hill Elementary. She was a member of the Bethel Baptist Church in Lake Wales and an avid flower gardener. She loved her family, children and nature. She was very artistic and liked old rock and roll music.

Donna was preceded in death by her brother, Raymond L. Robbins and a sister, Voncille Robbins Chancey.

Survivors include her daughter, Carlie Wynn Ard Cosce and her husband, Leo III of Lake Wales; brothers, David Robbins and wife, Doris of Dover, FL and Emory Robbins of Lake Wales; sisters, Juanita Robbins Powell of Montgomery, AL, Martha Robbins Hamilton and husband, Quinton of Lakeland and Elaine Robbins Hanei and husband, Brad of Venus; sister-in-law, Claudia Robbins of Satellite Beach; two grandchildren, Leo Cosce IV and Ayden Cosce; one great-grandson, Leo Cosce V; and many nieces and nephews.

Family will greet friends from 10:00 a.m. until the memorial service at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, April 28, 2018 at the Marion Nelson Funeral Home in Lake Wales with Pastor Michael Williamson officiating. For those who wish, donations may be sent to Florida Baptist Children’s Home or Cornerstone Hospice.
