Donald Glen McCullough, 85

Donald G. McCullough of Lake Wales passed away Sunday, June 23, 2024, At Forsythe Hospice House in Auburndale, Florida.

He was born February 2,1939, in Alturas, Florida to the late Malcolm and Gladys McCollough. Donald was a plumbing supervisor for the Polk County School Board. Donald attended seminary and was a gospel musician. He was a proud singer in The Soul Seekers, a gospel group whose mission was seeking souls for the kingdom of God through the ministry of music. They traveled all around the state singing in churches. Donald loved to fish and garden, and had an incredible green thumb.

Donald is preceded in death by his parents, Malcolm and Gladys McCullough, daughter, Melissa Charles, and his siblings. Donald is survived by his daughters, Melinda Brimlow of Lake Wales, and Melanie DeLeon-Thompson of Palmetto, Florida. He leaves behind his amazing grandchildren, Justin Charles, Cody Charles, Tristan Moschetto, Trinity Moschetto, Nya DeLeon-Thompson; and one great-grandchild, Leo Cameron Charles.
