Donald J. Kenny of Nalcrest, Florida passed away Friday, October 12, 2018 at Somer’s Hospice House in Sebring.
He was born May 20, 1935 in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania to the late Joseph and Mary (Ryan) Kenny. He has been a resident of the area for 8 years coming from North Carolina. He was an employee of the United States Postal Service. He was a member of the Holy Spirit Catholic Church in Lake Wales.
He is preceded in death by his daughter Karen Kenny. Donald worked at a race track and loved racing, horse racing, golf, and wood working. He enjoyed building things. Above all he loved his family the most, he will be missed dearly by everyone who knew him. He is finally with Pop playing horse shoes.
Survivors include his wife of 62 years Jacqueline Kenny, daughters Maryann Kelly and husband Timothy of Wilmington, NC, Bernadette Kenny of Wilmington, NC, Jackie Tozour and husband Daniel Sr. of Wilmington, NC, sons Donald J. Kenny Jr. and wife Maureen of Sewell, NJ, Michael Kenny and wife Teresa of NC, Christian Kenny of Wilmington, NC, brother James Kenny of Cape May, NJ, 22 grandchildren and 21 great grandchildren
