Donald Ray Keirn, 77
Donald Ray Keirn born February 6, 1947 in Ronceverte, West Virginia passed away peacefully on October 13, 2024.
Don lived much of his life in Rochester, New York working for Eastman Kodak Company for over 30 years. After retiring to Florida, he continued to make people laugh with his dad joke puns. He enjoyed listening to his favorite 50’s and 60’s music and walking in his community or Disney. If you were lucky enough to be present when he was watching classic cars go by, Don would tell you all the details and memories that came with each car.
Predeceased by his parents, Ray and Glenna Keirn; and son-in-law, Scott Parris. Don is survived by his loving wife of 37 years, Joan; daughters, Becky (Roger) Bubel, Jennifer (Robert) Dirks, Erin Parris; step-children, Andrew (Danna) Richards and Nicole (Dave) Hawks; siblings, Chuck (Eileen) Keirn, Linda (Tom) Callahan; grandchildren, Racheal, Brittany, Cameron, Caden, Jonathan, Emma, Madison, and Amberly; numerous in-laws, nieces, nephews, great-nieces, great-nephews, and many friends.
A private family service and inurnment at Florida National Cemetery in Bushnell will be scheduled at a later date. Don asked that everyone go have an ice cream in his memory. Don was extremely proud of his service in the United States Army’s 14th Calvary Regiment. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations in his honor can be sent to your local V.A. Services or V.A. Charity.
