Donald Roy Hedges, 81, of Lake Wales, Florida passed away Saturday, January 2, 2016 at the Groves Center.
He was born on February 18, 1934 in Indianapolis, Indiana to the late Roy J. and Elsa Rees Hedges and he has been a resident of this area since 1998 moving here from Bloomington, Indiana. He was a retired Tool & Die Maker for General Electric. Donald was a member of the American Legion in Postin, Indiana and a member of the Lake Wales Moose Lodge. He was a veteran of Korea serving in the US Army.
Survivors include his daughter, Tessie Hagermad of Fairland, Indiana; sons, Timothy Hedges of Bloomington, IN, Michael Hedges of Indiana; 4 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren.
