LAKE WALES -- Mr. Donald Bruce Faison Sr. of Lake Wales died of cancer Wednesday (July 5, 2006) at Lake Wales Medical Center. He was 68.

Born in Petersburg, Va., on July 6, 1937, he came to Lake Wales from Bradenton 25 years ago. He was a self-employed salesman.

Mr. Faison is survived by his wife, Laurie Fisher Faison; sons, D. Bruce Faison Jr., Oldsmar, Gene B. Faison, Clermont, Justin Alexander, Fort Valley, Ga.; brother, Mills B. Faison Jr., Franklin, Va.; seven grandchildren.

Memorials may be made to the Polk County Humane Society.
