LAKE WALES -- Mr. Donald Wayne Edmonson of Lake Wales died of cancer Friday (Sept. 15, 2006). He was 70.

Born April 14, 1936, in Altoona, Pa., Mr. Edmonson moved to Lake Wales from Tampa in 1987. He worked as an accountant for Graybar Electric. He was Protestant.

Mr. Edmonson is survived by his wife, Barbara Edmonson; sons, Michael Edmonson, Deerfield Beach, Donald W. Edmonson II, Tampa, Christopher E. Edmonson, Douglasville, Ga.; stepsons, David Wayne Brown, Babson Park, Chief Timothy R. Brown, Chesapeake, Va.; stepdaughter, Deborah K. Wise, Lake Wales; sister, Carolyn Rushing, Tampa; six grandchildren; three stepgranddaughters; two great-grandchildren; and one stepgreat-granddaughter.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Good Shepherd Hospice.
