Donald R. Bridges Sr., 67 Donald R. Bridges of Lake Wales, Florida passed away Monday, August 1, 2016 at Kindred Hospital in Tampa. He was born September 29, 1948 in Enterprise, Alabama to the late James M. Bridges and Lizzy Chancey. He was an Equipment/Maintenance Operator for Polk County Road Maintenance in Frostproof, Florida. He has been a resident of the area for 57 years . He is survived by his wife of 46 years Theresa Bridges, daughter Aimee Poirier and husband Christopher of Lake Wales, FL, son Donald Bridges Jr., of Lake Wales, FL, sisters Merle Godwin of AL, Linda Jenkins of AL and 3 grandchildren Aidan, Landon, and Ethan. Visitation will be held 6:00-8:00PM Thursday, August 4, 2016 with the Funeral Service 11:00 AM Friday, August 5, 2016 at the Marion Nelson Funeral Home. Interment will be held at Silver Hill Cemetery.
