Donahu Love of Lake Wales passed away at home surrounded by family Sunday, November 12, 2023.

She was born April 4, 1934 in Fort Green, Florida to the late Hugh and Mabel Lyles; she was a lifelong resident of Lake Wales and moved to Clermont in December of 2022 to be closer to her family. Donahu was a retired secretary for Bunting, Tripp, and Ingley and was a member of Village Church of God in Winter Haven. She was a pianist at Walker Street Church of God for many years. Donahu spent her life in servanthood to her church and family. She could often be found cooking meals for her family and friends. She was a Florida Gator fan and enjoyed collecting antique glassware.

Donahu was preceded in death by her husband, Bobby Love; and brother, Cecil Reed Lyles. She is survived by her daughter, Pamela O’Sullivan and husband Brian of Clermont; son, Randall “Randy” Love and wife Jill of Soddy-Daisy, Tennessee; sister, Jamaine McIver of Winter Haven; grandchildren, Jeremiah O’Sullivan and wife Stephanie, Kaitlin Pratt and husband Daniel, Christie Love, and Courtnie Love; great-grandchildren, Savannah, Addie, Henry, Oakley, and Olivia and beloved friend and neighbor, Keith Straub of Lake Wales.

A Visitation will be held from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m., Thursday, November 16, 2023 at Marion Nelson Funeral Home in Lake Wales. A funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m. Friday, November 17, 2023 at Marion Nelson Funeral Home in Lake Wales with Rev. David Nitz officiating. Interment will follow at Lake Wales Cemetery.
