Don Morris Fears, 78

Don Morris Fears of Haines City passed away Sunday, June 12, 2022 at Select Specialty Hospital Orlando.

He was born February 6, 1944 in Henderson, Texas to the late Arthur and Mary Fears. Don was a retired letter carrier for the United States Postal Service and a veteran of the United States Air Force. He was a former member of Trinity Baptist Church and a member of the American Legion.

Don was preceded in death by his wife, Mildred “Susie” Fears; and brother, Wayne Fears. He is survived by his son, Tim Fears of Lake Wales; and brother, Gerry Fears of Longview, Texas. For the last seven years, he split his time between Haines City, Florida and Nobleboro, Maine with his fiance, Jean Beaulieu. He will be deeply missed by Jean and her family.

A visitation will be held Tuesday, June 21, 2022 from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at Marion Nelson Funeral Home in Lake Wales. A graveside service will be held at 1:00 p.m., Wednesday, June 22, 2022 at Florida National Cemetery in Bushnell.
