Dolphus Eugene Moore of Lake Wales died of cancer Thursday, December 21, 2006 at his residence. He was 66.

Born January 10, 1940 in Hacoda, AL; he came to the area 28 years ago from Opp. AL. He was a supervisor in the citrus industry. He was a member of the Moose Lodge and the Elks Lodge both in Lake Wales.

Survivors include Annell Johnson of Lake Wales; daughters, Jenny Medlock of Babson Park; Darlene Bushey of California; Lisa Farmer of Tennessee; brothers, Richard Moore of Florala, AL; Jerry Moore of Wahneta; sister, Jackie Jackson of Florala, AL; six grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.

Visitation will be held from 1:00 PM until funeral services at 2:00 PM, Saturday, December 23, 2006 at the Marion Nelson Funeral Home. Interment will be held at Chapel Hill Cemetery in Florala, AL.
