DIMPLE B. “DOT” TUCKER, 83

Dimple B. “Dot” Tucker, 83, of Frostproof passed away Friday, February 22, 2008 at Kenilworth Care & Rehab. in Sebring.

Born November 23, 1923 in Boma, TN; she came here from Fort Lauderdale in 1960. She was a retired fruit grader for Ben Hill Griffin and was a member of the First Assembly of God Church.

Dot was preceded in death by her husband, Floyd L. Tucker in 1987; parents, George H. and Alta M. Christian; grandson, Kevin J. Tucker; sisters, Vera Smith and Ila Drew; brothers, Berva Christian, Carson Christian, Dallas Christian, Wirt Christian; step-daughter, Carley Bridges. Survivors include her sons, Gene Eugene Tucker of Wrightsville, GA; Daniel Keith Tucker of Frostproof; daughter, Alta Dianne Emery of Deltona, FL; step-children, Floyd Tucker of Byromville, GA; Mary Friar of Tampa, FL; Mertice Parker; Brantley Tucker; many grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Visitation will be held from 6:00 until 8:00 PM, Tuesday, February 26, 2008 at the Marion Nelson Funeral Home in Frostproof. Funeral services will be held 2:00 PM, Wednesday, February 27, 2008 at the funeral home with Rev. Kelly Galati and Rev. James Wood officiating. Interment will follow at the Silver Hill Cemetery.
