Diedra Ann Smith

Diedra Ann Smith of Frostproof, Florida passed away Wednesday, December 19, 2018 at her home in Frostproof.

She was born April 15, 1945, in Ft. Worth, Texas to the late Deuward B. and Irene (Oxford) Hunter. She was a registered nurse in healthcare and has been a long-time resident of Frostproof. She enjoyed woodworking, crafting and scrapbooking.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Clifton Arnold Smith; brother Deuward B. Hunter, Jr. and her parents.

Survivors include her daughters, Traci L. Chavis of Frostproof, FL and Kelli L. Scott and her husband Justin of Lake Wales, FL; son, Clifton E Smith and his wife Hilda of Lakeland, FL; sisters, Deuanna E. Schlink and Debbie T. Stauffer and 7 grandchildren and 8 great-grandchildren.

Family will receive friends at 12:00 noon followed by the funeral service at 1:00 p.m. Saturday, December 22, 2018 at the Emmanuel Baptist Church in Frostproof with Rev. Jon Essigmann officiating.
