Diane Cannon

Cynthia Diane Cannon. 62 Diane Cannon of Frostproof passed away Saturday, June 4, 2016 at Somer’s Hospice House in Sebring. She was born June 20, 1953 in Darlington, Florida to the late Willard D. and Ella M. (Barrett) Darby. She was the Director of Children’s Ministry for the First Baptist Church in Frostproof. Diane was a member of the Good News Club, Awana Club, Southern Baptist Association-Ridge Area. Diane started the Angel tree at the Church and was active in her community and church and started many prayer groups She is preceded in death by brothers Thomas Jefferson Darby and Brian Keith Darby. Survivors include her husband Mike Cannon, daughters Heather Ann Tillman (Tony) of Frostproof, FL, Amanda Nicole Long (Scott) of Lake Wales, FL, Cynthia Renee Sousa of Lake Wales, FL, son Michael Heath Cannon (Ann) of Frostproof, FL, sisters Linda Marie Dooley (Rich) of Panama City Beach, FL, Chyrel Lambeth (Aaron) of Frostproof, FL, Debra West(Jim) of Dothan, AL, brothers Daniel Wayne Darby (Jan) of Alturas, FL, William David Darby of Frostproof, FL 14 grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren. Visitation will be held 6:00-8:00Pm Wednesday, June 8, 2016 at the First Baptist Church Frostproof. Funeral Service will be held 11:00AM Thursday, June 9, 2016 at the First Baptist Church Frostproof with Rev. Darrol Hood Officiating. Interment will follow at the Silver Hill Cemetery. Donations may be made in her honor to the First Baptist Church Children’s Department at 96 W. B Street Frostproof, Fl. 33843.
