Destiny Thornton of Lake Wales, Florida passed away Saturday, November 26, 2016 at her residence.

She was born December 3, 1998 in Clarksburg, West Virginia. She has been a resident of the area since 2009 coming from Daytona, Florida. Destiny was a fighter, she loved the woods and touched countless lives during her journey.

She is survived by her parents Shannon Thornton and Sherry Camp of Lake Wales, FL, sisters Nicole Hyre of Clarksburg, WV, Sinnamon Spence of Daytona, FL, Stormey Thornton, Clarksburg, WV, Andrea Thornton-Kidwell of Belpree, OH, Emily Hyre of Clarksburg, WV, Christa Hyre Of Clarksburg, WV, Elizabeth Kirby of Bradenton, FL, brothers John Hyre of Clarksburg, WV, Roy Hyre of Clarksburg, WV, Thomas (TJ) Kirby of Bradenton, FL.

Visitation will be held 5:00-7:00 PM Friday, December 2, 2016 at Marion Nelson Funeral Home. Celebration of Life will be held all day Saturday, December 3, 2016 at the family residence.
