LAKE WALES -- Mrs. Dessie Mai Osborne of Lake Wales died of heart failure Thursday (April 13, 2006) in Cincinnati. She was 80.

Born Aug. 15, 1925, in Lavinia, Tenn., Mrs. Osborne moved to Lake Wales from there 58 years ago. She worked as a receptionist and secretary for Fort Electric. She attended Golfview Baptist Church of Lake Wales.

Mrs. Osborne was preceded in death by her husband, Junior Osborne. She is survived by her daughter, Janie Faye Sastre, Cincinnati; and one grandson.

Services will be at 10 a.m. Monday at Lake Wales Cemetery.
