Deborah Gertrude Scarborough

Deborah Gertrude Scarborough was born on March 14, 1937, in Walton County, Florida. She lived a full and meaningful life until her passing on April 9, 2026, at AdventHealth Lake Wales, where she was under the care of Vitas Hospice.

Deborah worked as a grader for Dundee Citrus, dedicating part of her life to this role. She enjoyed simple pleasures such as watching GRIT TV, going for walks, attending church regularly, and dipping snuff.

She is survived by her loving family, including her sons, Tommy Collins of Panama City Beach, James Thornton of Eclectic, Alabama, Dale Holbrook of Florida, David Holbrook, and Carl Holbrook; sister, Laura Smith-Sharpe of Lake Wales, and several grandchildren.

Deborah was preceded in death by her parents, Calvin and Queenie Huggins, and her sons, John Scarborough and Gene Scarborough.
