Debora Oliver

March 2, 1956 — February 20, 2017

DEBORA CAY OLIVER, Age 60.

Passed Monday, February 20, 2017 at Lake Wales Medical Center, surrounded by her immediate family, of heart failure.

She was born to James Gordon Oliver and Mittie Esther Westbrook Oliver. Dr. Pitt Thominson delivered her March 2, 1956, to the excitement of her two sisters, at The Lake Wales Hospital.

Debbie lived her entire life in Lake Wales, and graduated from Lake Wales High in 1974 and retired from the Polk County Utilities Administration in 2014,after loyal service.

Passing before her are her parents; sister, Ginger Oliver Farmer, brother-in-law, William F. Farmer; and special childhood friend, Susan MacBenn.

Remembering and still loving her forever are sister, Shirley Oliver Tyler, niece, Aimee Farmer Kelley (Skip); nephews, William F Farmer III (Melissa), Cole 0. Tyler (Elizabeth); six gran-nieces and gran-nephews; two great-gran nieces: Several couzins from Westbrook, Oliver, Gordon, Bell, Gay, Case, Widner, Whitaker, Williams' Rentz, Lawson, Phillips, Gray, Hambic, Shiver families in Florida, Georgia, Alabama, Oklahoma and, Michigan.

Also, very good and loyal friend, Kathy Holman; many friends from childhood, high school; and, unlimited FaceBook friends from around the world. And, the most important and, dear companion, little Maggie May.

Debbie was a member of Westside Baptist Church, Lake Wales, and trusted the LORD in her daily life. She was an avid reader, loved all animals, especially dogs, all wildlife. In her young years, owned her horse, named Joker and, rode around the local dirt roads with another special friend, the late Rhonda Stokes and, her sister. Also, she has traveled to several of these United States. Enjoyed weekend and holidays to Vero Beach, Jupiter and Green Cove Springs, Florida

Memorial service will be held 1:00 p.m. Saturday, February 25, 2017 at the Marion Nelson Funeral Home in Lake Wales with Rev. Walter Nelson officiating.
