Deanna King, 75

Deanna King of Nalcrest passed away Saturday, September 11, 2021 at Advent Health Lake Wales.

She was born September 14, 1945 in Miami Beach, Florida to the late Kenneth and Georgina Perry; she moved from Miami to Lake Wales in the early 1970’s. Deanna was a homemaker and a member of Good Shepherd Episcopal Church. She enjoyed fishing and was a member of the disabled American Veterans Auxiliary.

Deanna was preceded in death by her husband, Ernest King; daughters, Victoria Androsky, and Christina Kirk; and grandson, Austin Androsky. She is survived by her step-daughter, Patricia King of Portland, Maine; step-sons, Howard King of Portland, Maine, and Skip King of Portland, Maine; twin sister, Dianna Kronyak of Lake Wales; nieces, Toni Wilson, and Dawn Acree; grandchildren, Ryan Spear (Natasha) of Fellsmere, and Ann Marie Flynn of West Palm Beach; and great-grandchildren, Ryan Spear, Jr., Wyatt Spear, and Quinllynn Spear.

A celebration of life will be held from 4:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m., October 7, 2021 at the Lake Wales VFW for family and friends. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations in her honor can be made to the VFW Post 2420 (200 West Central Avenue, Lake Wales, Florida 33853).
