Dean Elton Sargeant, 92

Dean Elton Sargeant of Indian Lake Estates passed away Sunday, January 24, 2021 at his residence.

He was born June 19, 1928 in Vienna, New Jersey to the late Merrill and May Sargeant, Sr. Dean was the owner of Sargeants Oil Company and was of the Methodist faith. He enjoyed playing golf and going fishing.

Dean was preceded in death by his wife, Louise Sargeant in 2008; brothers, Roy Sargeant, and Merrill Sargeant, Jr.; and sister, Dorothy Sliwoski. He is survived by his daughter, Beverly Kist of Seminole, Florida; sons, Gary Sargeant of Cullman, Alabama, and Roger Sargeant of Witchital, Kansas; sister, Loretta Lewis of Gaent, West Virginia; brother, Jerry Sargeant of Sarasota; several grandchildren; and several great-grandchildren.
