LAKE WALES--Dean Earl Crane, 70, passed away suddenly October 10, 2007 at his home in Lake Wales, Florida.

Born July 14, 1937 in West Seneca, New York; he came to Lake Wales from Lawrenceville, PA in 2003. He served in the U.S. Navy; was a member of the Lake Wales Elks Lodge and was an avid cyclist.

Loving husband of Pam Crane of Lake Wales, father of Nadean Chamberlain of Collins, NY and Douglas (Michelle) Crane, Sr. of Cheektowaga, NY. Step-father of Peter (Becky) Penman of Simcoe, Canada and Colin (Gwyneth) Penman of Toronto, Canada. Devoted grandpa of Michelle, Doughlas Jr., Daniel, Erin, Robin, Sydney, Piper, Trevor, and Taylor. Great-Grandpa of Makayla Jayde and Max Dean. Brother of David Crane of Lakeview, NY, the late Frances Mendola and the late Jean Sturgess. Uncle to many nieces and nephews.
