David Osborne Sheppard

David Osborne Sheppard passed away on October 22, 2026, at Winter Haven Hospital. He was born on January 10, 1944, in Glendale, California.

David was an engineer for General Electric. He was an active and energetic man who enjoyed racquetball, cycling, and running. He also loved powerboats, sailboats, and golf. He lived in Norway before he sailed himself to Miami.

He is survived by his wife, Connie Sheppard. He is also survived by his son, Todd Templeton, and Todd’s wife, Vicki, of Arizona; his stepdaughter, Myriam Reising of Capitola, California; his sister-in-law, Pat Sheppard of Redwood City, California; six grandchildren, two great-grandchildren; and many friends from his community.

David was preceded in death by his parents, James and Marjorie Sheppard; and his brother.
