David Wesley Scott

David Wesley Scott of Lake Wales passed away Sunday, October 24, 2010 at the Winter Haven Hospital.

He was born March 25, 1943 in Topeka, Kansas to the late George T. & Martha Roberts Scott; he came here from Alabama 21 years ago. He was a truck driver for Swift Transport, of the Baptist faith and a veteran serving in the U.S. Air Force. He was a member of the Masonic Lodge and loved to play golf.

Survivors include his wife, Linda Scott; daughters, Missy Gaskin of Lake Wales, Courtney Scott of Tennessee, Dienna Dewey of Georgia and Denise Cohen of Georgia; sons, Robert Scott of Lake Wales and Lee Scott of Lake Wales; sister, Mary Lou Scott-Lopez of Oklahoma; 9 grandchildren and 1 great-grandchild.
