LAKEPORT--David M. Nice, 48, of Lakeport died of cancer Sunday, August 19, 2007 at Hendry Regional Medical Center in Clewiston, FL.
Born September 25, 1958 in Tampa; he moved to Lakeport 3 years ago from Frostproof. He was a master plumber for Rinco Plumbing Company. He was of the Protestant faith.
Mr. Nice was preceded in death by his father, Richard Nice. Survivor include his mother, Betty L. Simmons of Frostproof; brothers, Bruce Lee Nice of Lakeport; Craig Jeffery Nice of Tampa; Floyd Simmons III of Moore Haven; sister, Deborah Ackerman of Great Galls, MN.
Graveside services will be held 2:00 PM, Friday, August 24, 2007 at the Orange Hill Cemetery in Tampa with Rev. Denny Cothern officiating.
