David Kirkland

David Kirkland of Avon Park passed away May 12, 2010 at his residence.

He was born January 22, 1954 in Bartow; he was a lifelong resident of the area. He was a self-employed auto mechanic and of the Baptist faith. He enjoyed hunting and fishing.

David was preceded in death by his son, William Kirkland and mother, Kubie Jean Gatlin. Survivors include his wife, Sue Kirkland of Babson Park; daughter, Kubie Kirkland Corey and husband, Mark of Lake Wales; son, Clint Kirkland of Babson Park; and two grandchildren, Joshua and Emily.

Memorial service will be scheduled at a later date.
