David Allen Johnson

David Allen Johnson, 46, of Lake Wales, Florida passed away Tuesday, January 12, 2016 at his residence. He was born on August 9, 1969 in Jacksonville, Florida to Harvey W. Johnson and Brenda K. (Conner) McGavisk. David has been a resident of this area for 2 years moving here from Middleburg, Florida. He was an Architect/Draftsman in residential construction. David had a great sense of humor, he loved going to Montana, was an avid student Pilot, liked to fish and parasail. He loved his family and spending time with them. Survivors include his father, Harvey W. Johnson ( Denise) of Michigan; mother, Brenda McGavisk (Ronald) of Lake Wales; sister, Robin Batts (Timmy) of Lake Wales; brothers, Jason Johnson (Tara) Middleburg, FL, Bryan Johnson (Michelle) of Live Oak; grandmother, Dorothy Conner; grandfather, Leon Conner (Lucille). Funeral services will be held 10:00 AM Saturday, January 16, 2016 at Marion Nelson Funeral Home with Pastor Tony Faulkner officiating. Family will receive friends on Friday, January 15, 2016 from 6:00 until 8:00 PM at the Marion Nelson Funeral Home. Interment will be held 11:00 AM Sunday, January 17, 2016 at Good Shepherd Memorial Gardens in Ocala, Florida.
