LAKE WALES -- Mr. David H. "Dave" Hudson of Lake Wales died of injuries sustained in a motorcycle accident Friday (March 10, 2006) in Daytona Beach. He was 63.
Born in Barren County, Ky., on Oct. 16, 1942, he came to Lake Wales from West Palm Beach three years ago. He was the owner and operator of Great Southern Enterprises. He formerly owned Hudson and Sparling Inc. in West Palm Beach. He was a Baptist.
Mr. Hudson is survived by his wife, Cindy Hudson; daughters, Tammy Vineyard, Louisville, Ky., and Kelly Jean Hecker, Port St. Lucie; sons, Michael Hudson, Louisville, Ky., and Tommy Hudson, West Palm Beach; sister, Loretta Thomas, Smiths Grove, Ky.; 10 grandchildren; and three greatgrandchildren.
Visitation will be from 4 to 9 p.m. Wednesday at Marion Nelson Funeral Home in Lake Wales. Services will be at 10 a.m. Thursday at the funeral home chapel. Burial will be in Lake Wales Cemetery.
