David Edmunds of Victor, NY passed away Friday, May 11, 2012 at the Florida Hospital Heartland Medical Center in Sebring.
He was born September 15, 1935 in Nanticoke, PA to the late David & Mildred (Langley) Edmunds; and he has been coming to Frostproof, FL as a winter resident for 8 years. He was retired from Xerox Corp as an electrical engineer and was a member of the St. John's Lutheran Church in Victor, NY. He was also a member of the Lion's Club in Victor, NY and Lazer Institute of American; and a charter member of the Victor/Farmington Ambulance Corps. He enjoyed the outdoors, fishing and camping.
Survivors include his wife of 57 years, Ruth M. Edmunds; daughters, Diane Smith (Mark) of Farmington, NY and Denise Krug (Jim) of Victor, NY; sons, Darryl Edmunds of Farmington, NY and Duane Edmunds (Linda) of Pittsford, NY; sister, BethAnn Leshinski (Ed) of Hatfield, PA; and three grandsons, Dalton, Joseph and Trevor.
Memorial service will be held at a later date in Victor, NY.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be sent to St. John's Lutheran Church (888 Victor-Egypt Road, Victor, NY 14564) or the First United Methodist Church (150 Devane Street, Frostproof, FL 33843).
