David Timothy Durham, Jr.

April 15, 1990 — February 7, 2026

Waverly, Florida

David Timothy Durham, Jr., born on April 15, 1990, in Lake Wales, Florida, was a remarkable soul whose light shone brightly until his passing on February 7, 2026, in Waverly, Florida. He leaves behind a legacy that is defined by unwavering love and faith.

In his professional life, David was a truck driver for Ironclad Environmental Solutions. He was also a dedicated member of First Baptist Church of Waverly, where he contributed his talents as sound technician, ensuring that the message of faith resonated through the church's media. Music held a special place in his heart, he taught himself to play the guitar.

David graduated from the seminary class for pastoral ministries through the Ridge Baptist Association, a testament to his heartfelt connection to the Lord. This allowed him to be a fill-in pastor at other churches in the area. He was known for having a heart that overflowed with love and devotion—not only to his faith but also to his family. A devoted husband to Pamela Durham for 15 cherished years, they had a very unique and special love for each other. He consistently put his family first, demonstrating an unfaltering commitment and love.

His children, Carmen, Jenna, and David, III, were the center of his world, and he adored each of them with a fierce and tender affection. The joy he found in their laughter, in their achievements, and in their everyday lives, was second to none. David was not only their Daddy but also their guide and protector, imparting wisdom and skills often passed down from nature and the great outdoors.

His hobbies reflected his adventurous spirit. David found solace in nature, relishing hunting trips, fishing expeditions, and moments spent immersed in nature's beauty. The countless hours he spent in the woods allowed him to develop many survival skills. David also loved his time spent doing Jiu-Jitsu at Carlson Gracie Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu in Winter Haven. David was a proud member of the Christian Motorcyclists Association, where his passion for community and fellowship allowed him to make lasting connections with other members. Along with his other hobbies, he also taught himself to make custom knives.

David is survived by his beloved wife, Pamela; his children, Carmen, Jenna, and David, III; his parents, Rev. David and Diane Durham of Waverly; his sisters, Jessica Tucker and husband Richie of Lake Hamilton and Shana Diveley and husband AJ of Dundee; and his grandmother, Ella "Mawmaw" Durham of Waverly. Each of them carries a piece of his spirit, forever touched by the warmth of his love and the strength of his character.
