David Lee Collins, 58

David Lee Collins of Sebring passed away Thursday, October 14, 2021 at Somers Hospice Sebring.

He was born January 16, 1963 in Lake Wales to John and Mary Jane Collins; he has been a lifelong resident of Frostproof. David was a truck driver and of the Baptist faith.

David was preceded in death by his father, John Luther Collins. He is survived by his wife of 41 years, Catherine Collins; daughters, April Dobbins (Jamey) of Tallassee, Alabama, Sarah Wren (Jimmy) of Woodstock, Virginia, Amber Massey (Richard) of Sebring, Chancey Steuever of Sebring, Laura Collins of Sebring, and MaryAnn Atmore (Jacoby) of Winter Haven; son, Michael Collins of Winter Haven; sisters, Karen Boley (Steven) of Monk’s Corner, South Carolina, and Sharon Wilson (Brent) of Pisgah Forest, North Carolina; half-brothers, Bobby Collins of Gastonia, North Carolina, and Luther Collins (Mary) of Charlotte, North Carolina; and eight grandchildren.

A memorial service will be held at 2:00 p.m., Friday, October 22, 2021 at Family Life Church with Rev. Kelly Galati officiating.
