DAVID E. BURKACKI, 59

David E. Burkacki of Babson Park passed away Thursday, October 9, 2008 at the Lake Wales Medical Center.

Born December 10, 1948 in Michigan; he came here 14 years ago from Fort Myers. He was raised in the Catholic faith and was a veteran of Vietnam, serving in the U.S. Army where he earned a Purple Heart. He loved to fish, was a master carpenter and could build anything.

Survivors include his wife of 13 years, Teresa Burkacki of Babson Park; daughter, Tracy Martincic of Michigan; step-sons, Aaron Arnold of Homassassa and Charles Valente of Babson Park; step-mother, Corine Burcacki of Alabama; sister, Linda McNall of Winter Gardens; two grandchildren.

Memorial services will be held 10:00 AM, Monday, October 13, 2008 at the Marion Nelson Funeral Home, Lake Wales.
