WINTER HAVEN -- Mr. David Benjamin Blair of Winter Haven died of cancer Thursday (Dec. 1, 2005) at Good Shepherd Hospice, Auburndale. He was 69.

Born Sept. 30, 1936, in Grove City, Pa., Mr. Blair moved to Winter Haven from Ocean City, Md., four years ago. He was an aviator commander for the U.S. Navy for 22 years. He served in Vietnam. He attended Presbyterian Church, Ocean View, Del.

Mr. Blair is survived by his wife, Patricia "Pat" Blair; daughters, Rebecca Lynn Blair Ardis, Winter Haven, Kathryn Ellen Bohn, Bishopville, Md., Patricia Jennifer Baker, Honolulu, Hawaii; brother, Robert Blair, Columbus, Ohio; seven grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.

Services will be at 2 p.m. Tuesday at Marion Nelson Funeral Home, Lake Wales.
