Danny L. Hastings Jr of Lake Wales passed away Thursday, February 21, 2013 at the Lake Wales Medical Center.
He was born October 21, 1966 in Greenville, SC; and he came here from Greenville 22 years ago. He was a diesel fuel injection mechanic. He was an avid sports fan; he followed the Bucs, Tampa Bay Rays and Atlanta Braves. He was a former semi-pro baseball player and enjoyed golfing and heavy metal music.
Survivors include his wife of 19 years, Stephanie Hastings; daughters, Candice and Kayla both of South Carolina; sister, Angie and one grandchild.
The family will receive friends from 7:00 until 9:00 pm Tuesday, February 26, 2013 at the Marion Nelson Funeral Home in Lake Wales.
