Dannie Joseph Schilling, 75

Dannie Joseph Schilling of Winter Haven passed away Monday, May 10, 2021 at Winter Haven Hospital.

He was born December 15, 1945 in Roanoke, Virginia to the late Maynard and Ocie Schilling; he lived in Orlando from 1979 until moving to Winter Haven five years ago. Dannie was a retired drywall installation technician and was of the Baptist faith. When he was growing up, Dannie enjoyed hunting in Virginia. He like to do woodworking, and enjoyed listening to country music, specifically Bluegrass, and enjoyed grilling with his family.

Dannie is survived by his wife of 49 years, Carolyn Annette Schilling; children, Wesley Schilling of Lake Wales, Curtis Robertson of Bartow, Teresa Wray of Port Richey, Donna Schilling Wade of Roanoke, Virginia, Rex Schilling of Roanoke, Virginia, and Eric Schilling of Roanoke, Virginia; seven grandchildren; and 15 great-grandchildren.

A memorial service at Hammondale RV Park Clubhouse in Winter Haven will be held at 2:00 p.m., Sunday, May 23, 2021.
