Daniel F. Woodley of Frostproof passed away Sunday, December 26, 2010 at his residence.
He was born April 15, 1941 in Frostproof to the late Milton and Elizabeth (Flood) Woodley; and has been a lifelong resident of the area. He was a citrus/cattle rancher, a member of the First Presbyterian Church of Frostproof, and a charter member of FFA Alumni. He was also an avid turkey hunter, and loved the agricultural industry.
Survivors include his wife, Dana V. Woodley; daughter, Dana Mitchell and her husband, Ned; grandchildren, Ashley Leann Mitchell and John Daniel Mitchell.
A memorial service will be held 4:00 PM Thursday, December 30, 2010 at the First Baptist Church of Frostproof with Rev. Buzzy Elder officiating. Family will be receiving friends from 2:00-4:00 PM. Donations may be made to the Frostproof FFA Alumni or the Frostproof Presbyterian Benevolent Account.
