Daniel Arthur Leitch

Daniel Arthur Leitch, 81 of Lake Wales, Florida passed away Friday, March 25, 2016 Good Shepherd Hospice in Auburndale. He was born on August 13, 1934 in Fort Wayne, Indiana to the late Vearl and Catherine (Ervin) Leitch. He was a retired Machinist in the citrus industry. Daniel was an awesome cook, fisherman, hunter and was a jack of all trades, he could fix anything. He was preceded in death by his wife, Joan Leitch in 2015 He is survived by his daughters, Joni Wyatt (Phil) of Roanoke, IN, Kay Southerland-Anderson (Duane) of Lake Wales, Daughter-In-Law, Colleen Southerland of Ft. Wayne, IN; sons, Sonny Leitch of Hunter, IN, Jeff Leitch (Paula) Ft. Wayne, IN, Rick Southerland of Ft. Wayne, IN, Frank Southerland (Amber) of Tallahassee; 11 grandchildren; 10 great grandchildren; aunt, Thelma Boyer of Indiana; many niece’s nephews. Memorial services will be held 6:00 PM Monday, March 28, 2016 at the Marion Nelson Funeral Home with Rev. Denny Cothern officiating.
