WINTER HAVEN -- Mr. Dallas Dale Martin of Winter Haven died of Parkinson's disease Monday (March 13, 2006) at Lake Wales Medical Center. He was 64.

Born in New Boston, Ohio, on April 18, 1941, he recently moved to Winter Haven from Frostproof. He was a steel worker for New Boston Coke Steel Mill. He was a member of the steel worker's union. He was an Army veteran serving with the 101st Airborne in Fort Campbell, Ky. He was a member of Moose Lodge 1023 in Winter Haven. He was a Christian.

Mr. Martin is survived by his son, David Martin, Frostproof.

Visitation will be from 2 to 4 p.m. Thursday at Marion Nelson Funeral Home in Lake Wales.
