Cynthia Marathon

Cynthia Marathon was born on November 16, 1950, in Chattanooga, Tennessee. She passed away on March 22, 2026, at AdventHealth Lake Wales, where she was cared for by Vitas Hospice. Cynthia’s life was marked by her kindness and devotion to her family.

Cynthia was preceded in death by her parents, Cecil and Virginia Collier. She is survived by her three children: Chelsea McLane, Thomas Collier, and Melynda Dool. Cynthia was also a loving sister to Cecil Collier, Jr. and his wife Jonnie. Her family continued to grow with ten grandchildren and eleven great-grandchildren.
