Cynthia Kate Corbett

Cynthia Kate Corbett of Lake Wales passed away Saturday, March 5, 2011 at her residence.
She was born April 1, 1942 in New York, and came here from Dover, PA three years ago. She did security briefings on terrorism and was involved with security clearance personnel for the Civil Service in Europe and Pennsylvania. She was very community minded, and helped youth better their education. She was a member of the Lake Wales Literacy Council.
Survivors include her daughters, Jennifer Seely of Babson Park, Julie Helton of Babson Park, Amanda Corbett of Miami; son, Jonathan Lewis of Needville, TX; brother, Keith Armstrong of Altamont, NY; and six grandchildren.
Private family service will be held.
