Cynthia Kay Ballentine, 66

Cynthia Kay Ballentine of Frostproof passed away Monday, November 27, 2023, at AdventHealth Sebring.

She was born September 17, 1957, in Lake Wales to the late Robert “Dobbin” and Elizabeth McCrary; she was a lifelong resident of the area. Cynthia was a retail manager and of the Pentecostal faith. She previously volunteered at Florida Hospital in the diabetes center.

Cynthia is survived by her husband, Gary Ballentine; son, David McCrary of Frostproof; and sisters, Connie Morrie and husband John of Frostproof, and Kimberly Dease of Alabama.

A graveside service will be held at 2:00 p.m., Monday, December 4, 2023, at Silver Hill Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations in her honor can be sent to the American Diabetes Association.
