WATKINSVILLE, Ga. -- Mr. Curtis Dale Wineberger of Watkinsville, Ga., a native of Lakeland, died Sunday (Jan. 22, 2006) in Oglethorpe, Ga. He was 38.

Born in Lakeland on May 29, 1967, he moved to Watkinsville, Ga., from Athens, Ga., one year ago. He was a self-employed tile setter. He was a Baptist.

Mr. Wineberger is survived by his father, Jerry C. Wineberger, Homosassa Springs; mother and stepfather, Sandra and Walter Respress, Frostproof; daughters, Lacy R. Wineberger, Greenville, S.C., Charity Wineberger, Mooresville, N.C.; son, John Curtis Wineberger, Greenville, S.C.; sisters, Chelene Wineberger, Shelly Turner, both of Frostproof.

Visitation will be from 9 to 9:30 a.m. Saturday at Marion Nelson Funeral Home of Frostproof. Graveside services will be at 10 a.m. Saturday at Bougainvillea Cemetery in Avon Park.
