Coy C. “Buddy and “Skidroe” Skinner of Frostproof, Florida passed away on Wednesday, February 9, 2022.

Buddy was born on August 18, 1954, in Lake Wales, FL to Luzie and Cecil Skinner. Buddy worked for McDonald Construction, was a heavy equipment operator at Mosaic and retired from CF Industries and loved spending time helping his friend Hank. He was of Babtist faith and loved to fish (including magnet fishing). He loved to hunt and enjoyed the great outdoors, had a passion for all types of music, and spending time with friends. Buddy loved to travel and just enjoyed life. He has plenty of pictures to prove it as he took pictures of everything. His love and devotion to his wife Sonia was unconditional.

Buddy is survived by his wife of over 15 years, Sonia Skinner; his daughters Melinda Bond and husband Keith of Lake Wales, and Tammy Farrow and husband Lamar of Lake Wales; cousins Chris Skinner and his wife Shauna of Alabama, and Jeff Bryan of Lake Wales; his sister Louise of Lake Wales; and his adoring cats Pieces, and Mom’s Cat. He was a grandfather to many grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
