Corbet J. Grace of Lake Wales died Thursday, October 2, 2008 at The Groves Center.
Born November 8, 1921 in Frostproof; he lived here for most of his life. He was a self-employed carpenter, of the Protestant faith, and a veteran of World War II, serving in the U.S. Army.
Survivors include his companion, Merle Peterson of Lake Wales; daughter, Suzzette Alvarez of Tampa; step-son, Drew Smith of FL; brothers, Dewilton Grace of FL; 7 grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held from 1:00 until service time at 2:00 PM, Monday, October 6, 2008 at the Marion Nelson Funeral Home, Lake Wales with Rev. Denny Cothern officiating. Interment will follow at the Lake Wales Cemetery.
