Connie C. Garrett, 75

Connie C. Garrett of Frostproof passed away Friday, August 20, 2021 at her residence.

She was born July 17, 1946 in Ithaca, New York, to the late Fred and Marian Cameron; she moved to Frostproof from Harpersville, Alabama in 1970. Connie was a retired teacher from Roosevelt Academy and was a member of New Hope Church. She enjoyed going to the beach and all Frostproof sporting events. She was an advocate for the American Humane Society and was an avid Auburn University fan. Connie loved spending time with her grandkids.

Connie was preceded in death by her sister, Sandy. She is survived by her husband of 52 years, Coach Gary Garrett; sons, Vince Garrett (Anna) of Frostproof, and Pat Garrett; niece, Felecia Kline and family of Tennessee; four grandchildren, Katie, Shelby, Ethan, and Brody.

No services are scheduled at this time. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations can be made to the Polk County Humane Society (3195 Dundee Road, Winter Haven, Florida 33884).
