Clyde J. Snell of Lake Wales, Florida passed away Thursday, May 17, 2018 at Grace Healthcare.

He was born December 5, 1923 in Somerset, Kentucky to the late O.C. and Carlie (Wright) Snell. Clyde was a veteran in the United States Army serving in World War II. He was a member of Grace Baptist Church in Middletown, Ohio.

He is preceded in death by his wife Dorothy M. Snell, sisters Edna Sears, Hazel Pierce, Vera Coomer, brother Earl Snell.

Survivors include his daughter Pam Anderson of Lake Wales, FL, 3 grandchildren Todd Hearn and wife Sandi, Mindy White and husband Wes, Rusty Hearn and wife Jeannie, 4 great grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be held 1:00 PM Sunday, May 20, 2018 until service time at 2:00 PM with Laura Callender officiating at the Marion Nelson Funeral Home. Interment will be held at the Lake Wales Cemetery. Family will receive friends at Noah's Ark at 312 Ridge Manor Drive after the service.
