Clora M. Quattlebaum

Clora M. Quattlebaum of Frostproof passed away Sunday, April 15, 2012 at The Groves Center in Lake Wales.

She was born May 19, 1921 in Holmes County, FL to the late James A. & Hettie (Hawthorne) Brown; and she came here from Chipley, FL in 1954. She was a homemaker and was of the Baptist faith. She loved gardening and traveling with her daughter.

Clora was preceded in death by her husband, J.C. Quattlebaum in 1992 and 12 brothers and sisters. Survivors include her daughter, Tammy Garcia (Dennis) of Winter Haven; many nieces, nephews, friends and beloved pets, Cody and Butch.

Visitation will be held from 6:00 until 8:00 pm Thursday, April 19, 2012 and the funeral service will be held 2:00 pm Friday, April 20, 2012 at the Marion Nelson Funeral Home in Frostproof with Rev. Steve Bass officiating. Interment will follow at the Silver Hill Cemetery.

The family would like to thank the doctors and staff at the Lake Wales Medical Center, also the staff at The Groves Center for their care and devotion.
