Clifford J Williams

Clifford J. “Cliff” Williams, 91, of Lake Wales, FL, passed away Saturday, May 31, 2008 of respiratory failure at the Forsyth Home in Auburndale.

Born September 5, 1916 in McNabb, Illinois he moved to Lake Wales in 1985 coming from Granville, IL. He was a US Veteran of WWII, serving in the US Marine Corp. He was a farmer and a heavy equipment operator in the construction industry, and a member of the Lake Wales VFW. He enjoyed fishing, woodworking and reading.

He is preceded in death by his son Donald Eugene Williams and a granddaughter Nicole Renee Hock.

He is survived by his wife Polly Williams; daughters, Josephine “Josie” Hock and her Husband Chuck of Lake Wales; sons, George Edward Williams and his wife Dolly of Lake Wales, and Thomas Allen Williams and his wife Lorraine of Port Orange, FL; 8 grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren.
