Clifford "Cliff" Owen Cofer Ii

Clifford O. “Cliff” Cofer, II of Winter Haven, Florida passed away Wednesday, August 3, 2016 in Lakeland, Florida. He was born on December 3, 1988 in Avon Park, Florida to Clifford Owen and Cynthia Sue Cofer and he has been a lifelong resident of this area. He was a firefighter with Sumter County and was of the Baptist faith. Cliff enjoyed fishing, hunting and spending time with his family and friends. He was dedicated to his work. Cliff was preceded in death by his grandfather, Willard A. Reese and an uncle, Darryl Cofer. Survivors include his parents, Clifford and Cindy Cofer of Frostproof; brother, Clay Cofer of Frostproof; maternal grandmother, Mary Reese of Lakeland; paternal grandparents, John and Hazel Cofer of Frostproof; two uncles, Rick Reese and Willard Reese both of Lakeland; and an aunt, Cheryl Hadden of Frostproof. Family will receive friends from 6:00 until 8:00 p.m. on Monday, August 8, 2016 and the funeral service will be held 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, August 9, 2016 at the First Baptist Church of Frostproof with Rev. Darrol Hood and Rev. Kelly Galati officiating. Interment will follow at the Silver Hill Cemetery.
